A presentation by the botanist and photographer Jerry Jenkins about his current photographic and graphical work to make the northern flora and ecosystems more accessible to a wide range of people with the Northern Forest Atlas Project.

Jerry Jenkins is a botanist and ecologist who was also trained in physics and philosophy, and has 46 years of field experience with northern floras. He has authored several books, including The Adirondack Atlas, Acid Rain in the Adirondacks, Climate Change in the Adirondacks: The Path to Sustainability, and--most recently--Woody Plants of the Northern Forest: A Photographic Guide. We have come to appreciate Jerry as an amazing naturalist and teacher, and are excited that he will share some of his recent work for the Northern Forest Atlas with us.
