Join ecologists Conrad and Claudia Vispo of the Hawthorne Valley Farmscape Ecology Program, our host, Douglas Thomas, and her landscaper, Deborah Munson, for an exploration of the plants and insects in the landscaped wildflower meadows of Twin Maples in Lakeville, CT. Experience the mid summer beauty of the meadows and their inhabitants, and learn what it takes to establish and maintain them. The event is free, but we gratefully accept donations towards FEP’s efforts to create and maintain more on-farm habitat for beneficial insects at Hawthorne Valley Farm.
