Join us in celebration of the fall harvest & community, and visit the display area of the Hawthorne Valley Farmscape Ecology Program. Our interactive exhibits invite you to explore the wonderful worlds of: Nature Sounds, Mammals, Insects, Mushrooms, and Autumn Plants. We will also bring components of our Historical Weather Station and give you a preview of our almost finished book "From the Hudson to the Taconics: A Field Guide to the Ecological and Cultural Habitats of Columbia County, NY."
The Fall Festival also features seasonal children’s activities, a farm photo booth, an exhibition of artwork by Hawthorne Valley Waldorf School alumni, Birds of Prey wildlife demonstrations, a Hawthorne Valley Waldorf School Open House, puppet shows, a makers' market, and delicious food.
