Join Claudia and Conrad Vispo from the Hawthorne Valley Farmscape Ecology Program and members of the Roe Jan Watershed Group, which is co-sponsoring this walk, in welcoming spring during a leisurely walk into the floodplain forest of private land in Ancram. We visited this site many years ago, and are looking forward to explore it again with you. Learn to recognize the common and not so common plants that specialize in floodplains, see tham at different stages of their development, hear about their ecology and lore, observe their insect visitors.
All ages are welcome. The walk is free, but space is limited. Please register with Claudia Knab-Vispo (email@example.com or 518-672-7994) to reserve your space and receive directions.
